Two Honors students win Jo Anne J. Trow Undergraduate Scholarships

We are excited to announce that two students from TXST Honors College have been awarded the 2026 Jo Anne J. Trow Undergraduate Scholarship.

Fifty Jo Anne J. Trow scholarships are given annually by Alpha Lambda Delta (ALD) to its members from an international pool of competitive applicants. Award amounts range from $1,000 to $6,000 and used to assist members in completing their undergraduate degrees. Selection is based on maintaining a 3.5 grade point average, academic records, participation in Alpha Lambda Delta activities, campus and community service activities, and the applicant’s essay answers.

Ifechinemerem Diwe, who is majoring in Mechanical Engineering, hails from Lagos, Nigeria. Diwe also serves as the President of Engineers for a Sustainable World (ESW), a Physics Tutor with the Student Learning Assistance Center, and as the Secretary for the Student Representative Executive Board at Our Lady of Wisdom University Catholic Church. I enjoy being among like-minded scholars and finding ways to encourage each other to grow and become the best representations of ourselves and ample representations of ALD and the honors college on our campus.”
